Bodywork

I want to have more presence.

How come I get so tense when I speak?

What do I do with my arms?

I can’t stay still.

These are just four of dozens of anxious questions I get asked in reference to how we use our bodies in public.

If you lie on your back with your head slightly supported , your legs bent and soles of your feet flat on the floor and breathe......this is how you should feel when you are addressing an audience.

Why is this? Well try it and find out for yourself.

Perhaps relaxation and support spring to mind ...and body?

This is just one of many, simple, effective and powerful ways to make changes to your development.

BODY LANGUAGE

Now we all are familiar with body language.

Yes, we do all know about body language. It is programmed into us from way back in time. It’s all about “fight or flight”. Look it up if you are, interested.

What perhaps we don’t know in detail is how our own body language is perceived by others – how we come across.

Understanding our own body language is vital to our success, it makes us more authentic and, by definition, stronger and more competent to the viewer.

There are dozens of different techniques that help you look more composed and relaxed. Phil Croskin can advise you on what will suit you and your personal situation.
